The action management screen is where you keep track of everything you owe your client companies: improvement tasks, next steps, risk follow-ups, planned deliverables and more, across all of your clients in one place. Don't let analysis be the end of it. Treat this page as your working to-do list and update it every day.
- Register a new action
- Make good use of type, priority and due date
- Update an action's status to track progress
- Turn the suggested actions from skill diagnostics into real work
Opening action management
Click Improvement proposals (改善提案) in the left sidebar. The URL is /en-US/Consultant/Actions.
If the line under the page title says you can manage improvement tasks, next steps, risk follow-ups and similar items for your client companies in one list, you're on the right screen.
What's on the screen
A form with four fields side by side and a line below them for the action itself.
- Client company (クライアント企業): pick one of your client companies (required)
- Type (種別): Improvement task (改善タスク) / Meeting item (ミーティング項目) / Next action (次回アクション) / Risk response (リスク対応) / Deliverable (成果物作成)
- Priority (優先度): High (高) / Medium (中, the default) / Low (低)
- Due date (期限): a date picker
- Action (アクション内容): one line of text (required; for example, "Propose a new preprocessing flow to improve RAG data quality")
- The black Add (追加) button
- Company name
- Action (the text you entered)
- Type badge: Improvement (改善) / Next step (次の一手) / Risk (リスク) / Deliverable (成果物) / Meeting (ミーティング)
- Priority badge: High (高) / Medium (中) / Low (低)
- Due date ("—" if none is set)
- Status badge: Not started (未着手) / In progress (進行中) / Done (完了)
- Actions column: a status dropdown plus a red Delete button
If you don't have any client companies yet, the form is replaced by a message asking you to register a client company first, with a link to the page where you can do that.
Common tasks
- In the form at the top, choose the Client company (クライアント企業).
- Choose a Type (種別): Improvement task, Meeting item, Next action, Risk response or Deliverable.
- Set the Priority (優先度) to High, Medium or Low (the default is Medium).
- If there's a deadline, enter it as the Due date (期限).
- In Action (アクション内容), write in one line exactly what you're going to do.
- Click the black Add (追加) button, and a new row appears in the table below.
- In the actions column on the right of the table, pick Not started (未着手), In progress (進行中) or Done (完了) from the dropdown.
- Your choice is submitted the moment you select it, and the status badge updates.
- Look at the priority column and start with the rows marked High (高).
- Check the due date column as well, and put anything that's both high priority and due soon at the very top of your list.
- Click the red Delete button in the actions column.
- When asked to confirm that you want to delete the action, choose OK and it's deleted.
Choosing the right type
| Type | Typical use |
|---|---|
| Improvement task (改善タスク) | A fix for a problem uncovered by a skill gap |
| Meeting item (ミーティング項目) | A topic to raise at the next meeting |
| Next action (次回アクション) | Something you agreed with the client to do before you next meet |
| Risk response (リスク対応) | Issues that can't be left alone, such as a failed PoC or a budget overrun |
| Deliverable (成果物作成) | Things you hand over, such as reports, proposals or training materials |
Working with skill diagnostics
The real value of this page is turning the issues you spot in skill diagnostics into work that actually gets done. Go back and forth between analysis and action, and the effect shows up as numbers in your next diagnosis.
On the skill diagnostics page, look at the bottleneck analysis (ボトルネック分析) or the suggested actions in the per-client AI score table (クライアント別AIスコア一覧), and copy what you want to act on.
On the improvement proposals page, register a new action for that client (type: Improvement task; priority: based on how low the score is).
Change it to In progress when the work starts, and to Done when it's finished.
The next time you open skill diagnostics, you can check whether the scores have improved.
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Likely cause and what to do |
|---|---|
| I can't register an action | Either the client company or the action text is missing. Fill in both, then click Add (追加). |
| The new action form doesn't appear | You haven't registered any organizations on the client companies page yet. Use the link shown in place of the form to create one first. |
| Changing the status has no effect | Try refreshing the browser. If it still doesn't change, it may have been a network error, since the change is sent the moment you select it. |
| The Delete button doesn't do anything | You may have chosen Cancel in the confirmation dialog. Click the button again and choose OK. |
| I want to keep finished actions as a record | Don't delete them; set their status to Done (完了) instead. They stay in the table, grouped at the bottom; unfinished actions are listed first, soonest due date first. |
| The table gets too long with lots of actions | There's no filter at the moment. Clear out (delete) finished actions from time to time, or use your browser's search to find what you need. |
