Tracking AI Project Progress – Executive Guide

The AI project management screen lists every AI adoption project running across the company, from an executive's point of view. You can see each project's phase, progress and status at a glance and step in early when something slips. This is where learning turns into business results, so if projects stall here, good numbers elsewhere count for much less.

Opening AI project management

Click AI Adoption Projects (AI導入プロジェクト) in the left sidebar. The URL is /en-US/{organization ID}/executive/projects.

You're on the right screen if the page is titled AI Project Management (AIプロジェクト管理) and opens with a note that it lists the company's AI adoption projects and can be filtered by department, phase and status, followed by a count in the form "(N active / M total)" ((N 件 稼働中 / 計 M 件)).

What's on the screen

Filter form (one row)
  • Department (部署): All (全て) or one of your organization's departments
  • Phase (フェーズ): All, or one of the phases set on your registered projects. Only phases in use are listed, and they appear as their stored English values: Preparation, RequirementsDefinition, PoC, Deployment, FinalValidation or Completed.
  • Status (ステータス): All, or Preparing (準備中), PoC, In progress (進行中), On track (順調) or Delayed (遅延)
  • A black Search (検索) button, plus a Clear (クリア) button while a filter is applied
Project cards (two columns)
  • The project name (left) and a status badge (right)
  • The department name, or No department (部署未設定) if none is set
  • A progress bar whose color follows the status, plus "Progress: XX%" (進捗:XX%)
  • Phase (フェーズ): only if one is set
  • Goal (目標): only if one is set (otherwise the description)
  • A white View details (詳細を見る) button that opens the project's details page in the Consultant area. Only the consultant account in charge of the organization can open it.

What the statuses mean

Status isn't something anyone sets. Manabu2 works it out from the project's progress, phase and creation date. Delayed is checked first, then whether the phase is PoC, and finally the progress percentage.

Badge Meaning
On track (順調) Progress is 70% or more (phase other than PoC)
Delayed (遅延) Progress is still under 30% more than 60 days after the project was created
PoC The phase is PoC
In progress (進行中) Progress is 30–69% (phase other than PoC)
Preparing (準備中) Progress is under 30% and the project is no more than 60 days old (phase other than PoC)

Common tasks

  1. In the Status (ステータス) dropdown, choose Delayed (遅延).
  2. Click the black Search (検索) button.
  3. The list narrows to just those projects.
  4. Go over next steps with the consultant in charge. Each card's View details (詳細を見る) button leads to the project's details page in the Consultant area, but only the consultant account in charge of the organization can open it.
A quick look here before a meeting tells you right away which projects need discussing.

  1. Choose the department in the Department (部署) dropdown.
  2. Click Search (検索), and only that department's projects remain.
  3. To compare with another department, change the dropdown and search again.
  4. Projects with no department set never show up when you filter by department.

  1. Choose PoC in the Phase (フェーズ) dropdown.
  2. Search, and the projects in the PoC phase are pulled out.
  3. This lets you see how far PoCs have got and whether they're moving on to the next phase.

  1. While a filter is applied, a white Clear (クリア) button appears to the right of the Search button.
  2. Click it to reset every filter and show all projects again.

  1. Click Go to report generation (レポート生成ページへ) at the bottom of the screen.
  2. On the report page, pick the monthly, quarterly or annual report as Excel, PDF or CSV and download it.
  3. The report includes a projects section.

Reading the list as a whole

Rather than looking at cards one by one, look at how the whole list is skewed. That's where you'll see what the organization needs to decide.

What the list shows What it means and what to do next
More and more projects are Delayed Resources need rebalancing, or the requirements need another look.
Mostly PoC, with few In progress or On track Projects aren't making the jump from PoC to production. Review this with the consultant and department managers.
Projects stuck in Preparing These projects are on their way to being shelved. Once a project is more than 60 days old and still under 30% progress, it switches to Delayed, so reset its priority or decide whether to wind it down before then.
Projects concentrated in one department The approach isn't spreading to other departments. Include the best practices in your executive reporting and push for wider rollout.

Troubleshooting

Problem Likely cause and fix
No projects appear at all The consultant hasn't registered any projects yet. Ask your consultant to add them.
The CSV export button can't be clicked Exporting CSV directly from this page isn't available yet. Use Go to report generation (レポート生成ページへ) next to it instead.
View details takes you to a Consultant screen That's expected: projects are edited in the Consultant area. Those project pages open only for the consultant account in charge of the organization, and any other account is refused access, so ask that consultant for the details.
Some projects show No department The Consultant screens for creating and editing projects don't currently have a department field; a project's department can only be set through the API. Saving a project on the Consultant edit screen also clears any department it had. The department dashboard doesn't use projects, so its figures aren't affected.
Progress is 100% but the project doesn't show as completed Status is worked out automatically from progress, phase and creation date, and there's no "completed" status (a project at 100% normally shows On track). When a project is finished, have the consultant set its phase to Completed (完了) in the Consultant area; it then drops out of the active count at the top of the page.
