The report center produces the official company-wide AI adoption report you can use for management meetings, board meetings and shareholder materials. Choose from three report types (monthly, quarterly and annual) and three formats (CSV, Excel and PDF), then download. Instead of walking people through the screen, you take the numbers away in a form you can hand out as is.
- Produce a report for the board or a year-end review with the right period and format
- Know in advance what goes into the report
- Get the ROI inputs in place first so the ROI section isn't empty
- Choose between PDF, Excel and CSV depending on how you'll use it
Opening the report page
Click Report Export (レポート出力) in the left sidebar. The URL is /en-US/{organization ID}/executive/reports.
You're on the right screen if the page is titled Report Center (レポート生成センター) and opens with your organization's name and a note asking you to choose a period (1, 3 or 12 months) and a format (CSV, Excel or PDF), adding that every report includes KPIs, department figures, the monthly trend and project status.
The three report cards
Monthly report (月次レポート)
The last month. A snapshot of learning progress, the AI adoption index and project status.
Quarterly report (四半期レポート)
The last 3 months. A detailed report with department comparisons, the monthly trend and KPI details.
Annual report (年度レポート)
The last 12 months. A review of company-wide AI initiatives, KPI trends and the project portfolio.
Each card has three buttons.
- A white CSV button
- A green-outlined Excel button (for editing and further analysis)
- A black PDF button (for handing out as is)
What's in the report
The cards in the lower half of the page spell out what the report contains, in four areas.
All three reports have the same sections. The period only changes how many months the monthly trend covers. KPIs, department figures and projects are the values at the moment you download, and ROI is always an annual figure.
AI adoption index, skill maturity, active rate, learning completion rate, average test score and certification rate
Each department's member count, AI adoption index, maturity, path progress and needs-attention flag
The number of lessons completed each month over the selected period (lessons completed in your organization's courses, by calendar month, including the current month)
The phase, progress and status (Delayed / On track / PoC / In progress / Preparing) of every AI project
The return on investment (ROI) section
Below those, a gray Return on investment (ROI) (投資対効果(ROI)) card explains the following, which the report includes:
- Subscription cost (12 months)
- Consultant fees
- Labor cost (for each project: estimated hours per member × the sum of the hourly rates of the project's members; members with no hourly rate are costed at the organization's average hourly rate)
- Estimated value of outcomes
- The net benefit and ROI ratio calculated from the figures above
The ROI inputs are entered in Consultant → organization settings / projects, and in HR → edit employee (hourly rate).
Common tasks
- Click the PDF button on the Quarterly report (四半期レポート) card.
- Attach the downloaded PDF to the board pack, or hand out the relevant pages.
- ROI is included automatically, so you can use it to explain the return on investment.
- On the Annual report (年度レポート) card, choose Excel or PDF.
- You get a review report with the 12-month trend, KPIs and the project portfolio all in one place.
- Click the CSV button on the card for the period you want.
- The file is UTF-8 with a BOM, so characters display correctly even when you open it straight in Excel.
- Load it into a BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio and so on) to add your organization's own analysis.
- At the end of each month, download the Monthly report (月次レポート) as a PDF. (The monthly report's trend starts on the 1st of the current month, so a copy taken at the start of a month is almost empty.)
- Save it in a shared folder or audit trail as that month's snapshot.
- Keep your own table of the ROI ratio month by month to see how investment efficiency changes over time.
- If the Return on investment (annual) (投資対効果(年間)) card on the executive dashboard says there are no ROI inputs yet (ROI 計算用の入力がまだありません。), the ROI amounts in the report will be 0 and there will be no ROI ratio line.
- First fill in Consultant → organization settings (subscription, average hourly rate), projects (consultant fee, estimated hours, estimated value) and HR → edit employee (hourly rate). Labor cost only covers the project members added on the project's details page in the Consultant area.
- Download the report again after entering them, and the ROI figures will be filled in.
Which format to use (for executives)
| Format | Best for |
|---|---|
| Board meetings, external submissions, printed handouts, audit trails | |
| Excel | Adding your own KPIs, re-aggregating in corporate planning |
| CSV | Loading into BI tools or a data platform, feeding other systems |
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Likely cause and fix |
|---|---|
| ROI amounts are 0, or there's no ROI ratio line | The organization settings, projects or employee hourly rates aren't filled in enough. The ROI ratio is left out whenever total cost is 0. Follow the guidance in the ROI section and set them up in the Consultant and HR areas. |
| The PDF layout looks broken | Built-in browser viewers sometimes can't render certain fonts. Open the file in another viewer, such as Adobe Acrobat, and it should display correctly. |
| The CSV shows garbled characters | The file is UTF-8 with a BOM, so Excel 2016 or later opens it directly. In older setups, import it with Get Data and choose UTF-8. |
| The quarterly report has little data for the 3 months | If learning only started recently, there isn't much data for the period yet. Use the monthly report first and switch to quarterly once you have 3 months of data. |
| You want the report sent out automatically every month | Automatic delivery of executive reports isn't available yet. On the HR report page, an HR lead can schedule monthly email delivery of the HR reports (全社レポート, 部署別レポート and テストスコア履歴, as CSV), but this executive report, with its ROI and project figures, isn't one of them. |
| Project information isn't up to date | The consultant may not have updated the project's phase or progress (the status is worked out from those). The report is built from the data at the moment you download it, so ask the consultant to update the projects before you download. |
