Courses are where the actual learning lives. Open one, read, move on to the next lesson — that's really all it takes to make progress. This guide walks you through it in order, from finding a course to using the lesson screen.
- Find the course you want in your course list
- Start a course and work through it to the end
- Use slides and course materials
- Answer the quiz at the end of a lesson
Open your course list
Click Courses (the book icon) in the left sidebar. You'll see a card for every published course
assigned to you, either directly or through a learning path you've been assigned.
The URL is /en-US/{organization ID}/user/courses.
Reading a course card
Each card tells you everything you need to know about a course at a glance.
- Status badge (top left): Not started / In progress / Completed
- Section and lesson count (top right): for example, "3 s / 12 l" means 3 sections and 12 lessons
- Course title and description
- Progress bar and percentage
- View details: a course you haven't started yet
- Continue: a course you're partway through
- Review: a course you've completed
Whichever button you click, it opens the course's details page. Nothing starts right away, so feel free to click.
The course details page
The course details page has three areas: a left column (course info and course overview) and a right column (the curriculum). It lets you see what's in a course before you begin.
- Course title and description
- Progress bar ("N / M lessons completed" and "N% complete")
- Start button: depending on where you are, it reads Start learning, Resume where you left off, or Review from the start. Click it to jump straight to the lesson you should take next (the first lesson you haven't completed, or the first lesson if you've completed them all).
- Acknowledgment: some courses ask you to confirm a statement here after you've finished every lesson. Your progress doesn't reach 100% until you tick the box and click Confirm and complete the course.
- Number of sections
- Number of lessons
- Date the course was created
Sections and lessons are listed in an accordion. Click a section name to expand its list of lessons. The icon next to each section name shows a green check (all lessons completed), a blue half circle (some completed), or a gray circle (not started). Each lesson row shows the following.
-
Icon on the left
- ● Green check: completed
- ○ Gray play icon: not completed yet
- Lesson title
-
Quiz badge (if the lesson has a quiz)
- "Passed 95%" (green): you've passed the quiz
- "Failed 40%" (red): you didn't pass the quiz (you can retake it)
- "Quiz" (yellow): the lesson has a quiz you haven't tried yet
- Button on the right: Open (lessons you haven't completed) or Review (completed lessons). Click it to go to the lesson screen.
Using the lesson screen
From top to bottom, the lesson screen is made up of the parts below. This is where you actually learn.
Links in the form "Courses > {course name} > {lesson name}". Click them to go back to your course list or the course details page.
There are Previous lesson and Next lesson buttons at both the top and the bottom of the screen. On the first or last lesson, the button at the top is disabled (grayed out), and the one at the bottom changes to Back to course overview.
The Course overview button takes you back to the details page of the course this lesson belongs to.
Lists the sections and lessons of the course you're taking. To jump to another lesson, just click it here. Icons are color-coded: the lesson you're on (blue play icon), completed (green check), and not completed (gray circle).
Shows the title, a completion badge (green once the lesson is completed), and the lesson text. Scroll to read through it. Below the text come any slides, materials, and quiz. For a lesson without a quiz, click Mark as complete at the end to complete it — just opening the page doesn't count as completing it.
If the lesson includes slides, a Reveal.js slide viewer is embedded in the page. Use the left and right arrow keys, or click, to move between slides. The Open fullscreen button switches to full-screen view.
Appears when extra materials such as PDFs, videos, audio, or Office files are attached to the lesson.
- File materials have a download button labeled with the file name (or Download file if there's no name). Click it to get the original file. PDFs can also be previewed right on the page.
- Videos (including YouTube) and audio play in a player on the page.
- Choose an answer for each question with the radio buttons
- Answer every question, then click Submit quiz at the bottom to have it scored
- Your result appears right away: if you pass, a green message with your score (and the lesson is marked complete automatically); if you don't pass, a yellow message with your score
- If you don't pass, answer the quiz on the same screen again and submit — you can retake it as many times as you need until you pass. After that, it shows You've already passed this quiz

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Likely cause and what to do |
|---|---|
| Nothing happens when I click View details | Reload the page (Ctrl+R / Cmd+R). If that doesn't help, try a different course. |
| Slides don't appear on the lesson screen | An ad blocker or your company proxy may be blocking the CDN (jsdelivr.net). Check with your IT department. |
| A material won't download | Check your browser's pop-up or download blocking. An icon may appear at the right end of the address bar. |
| I can't submit the quiz | Make sure you've answered every question. You can't submit while any question is unanswered. |
| I finished the course, but it doesn't show the Completed badge | A lesson with a quiz isn't complete until you pass the quiz, and a lesson without one isn't complete until you click Mark as complete. In the curriculum on the course details page, look for lessons without a green check (a "Failed" (red) or "Quiz" (yellow) badge is a good clue). If the course asks for an acknowledgment, also check that you've confirmed it on the course details page. |
