Your learning paths are the routes laid out for you: what to learn, and in what order, is already decided, so you never have to wonder what comes next. This guide shows you how to read your paths and work through them.
- See which paths have been assigned to you
- Find the next course to take and start it
- Take a path's required tests
- Understand what the progress numbers mean
Opening your learning paths
Click My Learning Path (the signpost icon) in the left sidebar.
The URL is /en-US/{organization ID}/user/path. The page itself is headed My Learning Paths (マイラーニングパス).
This page lists the learning paths assigned to you. A path is a set of courses grouped into a single route through the material.
Reading the path list
Each path card shows the information below. It looks like a lot of numbers, but the only two things you really need are the progress bar and the button.
- Status badge (top left): Not started (未開始) / In progress (学習中) / Completed (完了)
- Course count (top right): for example "5 courses" (5 コース) means the path contains five courses
- Labels: tags attached to the path (a department name, a level and so on), shown as gray badges
- Path name and description
- Progress bar: how much of all the lessons in all the courses you've completed (for courses that end with an acknowledgment, that acknowledgment counts too). Underneath it reads "X / Y lessons completed" (X / Y レッスン完了)
- View details (詳細を見る): you haven't completed any lessons yet
- Continue learning (続きを学習): you've completed at least one lesson
Clicking the button opens that path's details page.
The path details page
From top to bottom, the path details page is made up of four blocks.
- A ← Back to path list (パス一覧へ戻る) link
- The path name (as a large heading) and its description
- A progress bar for the whole path
- Figures in the form "X / Y lessons completed · N courses" (X / Y レッスン完了 · N コース)
- Once you've completed every lesson and passed every required test, a green check icon, the message Path complete! (パス完了!) and a Completed (完了) badge appear at the top of this card
This card shows where you stand on the required tests linked to the path.
- If there are no required tests, it says so: "This path has no required tests." (このパスに必須テストはありません。)
- If there are, a badge appears: Passed (合格済み) when you've passed them all, or 2 / 3 passed (2 / 3 合格) when some are still left
- The Test list (テスト一覧) button on the right takes you to the page where you take the path tests
The courses in the path are listed in the order you're meant to take them. Each course card has:
- A number on the left: its place in the order (1, 2, 3 …)
- The course title, with a status badge on the right (Not started / In progress / Completed)
- "X / Y lessons completed" and a progress bar
-
An action button:
- Start learning (学習を始める): you haven't started the course
- Continue learning (続きを学習): you're partway through
- Coming soon (準備中, grayed out with a padlock icon): the course hasn't been published yet
The button takes you to that course's details page. From there, click Start learning to go to the lessons.
Common tasks
- Click My Learning Path in the left sidebar.

- Click Continue learning or Start learning (学習を始める) on that course's card.
- Open the path details page.
- Check where you stand on the required tests in the Path tests (パステスト) card in the middle.
- Click the Test list (テスト一覧) button on the right.
- On the test list, choose the test you want to take.
For more detail, see Taking tests and quizzes.
Scroll to the bottom of the path details page and you'll see the courses lined up in order. The numbered list shows at a glance what you'll learn and in what sequence. Taking a quick look at it before you start gives you a feel for how much there is, which makes the whole thing feel more manageable.
Go back to the list with the ← Back to path list (パス一覧へ戻る) link at the top of the path details page, or with My Learning Path in the left sidebar, then click the card of another path.
A course shows "Coming soon"
If a course's button on the path details page shows Coming soon (準備中, grayed out with a padlock icon), that course hasn't been published yet. As soon as a curriculum manager publishes it, you'll be able to take it; you don't need to do anything.
You don't have to finish the previous course first; it's simply waiting to be published. Nothing is wrong on your end, so don't worry. If it's urgent, contact your curriculum manager or HR contact.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Likely cause and what to do |
|---|---|
| The page says no learning paths are assigned to you (現在、割り当てられた学習パスがありません。) | No path has been assigned to you yet. Ask your HR contact to assign one. |
| A course stays on Coming soon (準備中) | It's waiting for a curriculum manager to publish it. If it's urgent, contact them. |
| The path's progress bar doesn't match the course's | They measure different things: path progress counts lessons across all of its courses, while course progress counts only that course's lessons. Check the course's own page for its exact figure. |
| I passed the required tests, but the Completed (完了) badge doesn't appear | On the path details page, a path is marked Completed only when you've finished every course and passed every required test. Check whether any courses are still unfinished. |
| Do I have to follow the path in order? | It depends on how the curriculum was designed. Most paths are built to be taken in order, but you can skip ahead and still take any course. That said, skipping material that later courses build on can make them harder to follow, so the recommended order usually works best. |
